Make Money With Adsense
By now, Google’s Adsense program is the commonplace for many internet entrepreneurs. It has even spurned many "copy cat" type programs that had promised webmasters to earn more money than Adsense.But, the truth is that none of these programs is as successful or as widespread as Adsense. Of course, there is more to making money with Adsense than simply installing the script on your website. Here are a few tips and tricks to make sure that you are maximizing your opportunity to make money with Adsense:
1. Traffic Traffic Traffic. The more people you have visiting your site, the more people are likely to click on the ads displayed on your site. Ad clicks are what earn you money. Get the word out about your site! If you are a blogger, build your audience by commenting on others’ blogs (legitimate comments; nobody likes a comment spammer). List your site on some website and blog directories. Email all of your friends and family and encourage them to visit your site.
2. Update your site often. A static site might experience a large boom of visitors when it first goes live, but if the content is not updated (and updated on a regular basis), there isn’t any reason for people to come back. Make sure that your site has a steady stream of fresh content to entice visitors to your site. Another advantage of a regularly updated site is that you will have more opportunities to attract new visitors to your site. New visitors are more likely to click on the Adsense ads than people who visit regularly.
3. Make money with Adsense by placing your Adsense Code in a prominent place on your website. Near the top of the site is the best place as that is typically where the newest content is located. Visitors are not going to scroll down to the bottom of your page just to click on your ads. Put them in the most prominent location possible—“above the fold” or, if you are a blogger, consider putting the ads at the bottom of each of your posts.
4. Don’t discriminate the ads you approve. It is easier to make money with Adsense from well written but lower paying ads than the higher paying but not very relevant ads. Instead of paying attention to how much each ad pays, concentrate on the ads that are relevant to your site’s content. Visitors are more likely to click on ads that relate to what they have just read.
5. FOLLOW THE RULES. This is worth typing in caps. Google Adsense has some very strict rules including not asking site visitors to click on ads, not clicking on your own ads, etc. Google is very sensitive about what it calls “click fraud” and if they think you are guilty of click fraud you will be banned from the Adsense program forever! Read the rules and follow them exactly.
It is possible to make money with Adsense; it just takes time and practice. Everybody starts out with small earnings, but over time you will learn how to make the maximum amount of money possible with Adsense.
